If you are one of those party goers who likes bingeing on party drug ice and alcohol, be ready to experience much greater levels of general anxiety.
At Macquarie University, Brain researchers found that young rats fed a combination of alcohol and methamphetamine displayed much greater levels of general anxiety in the long term than rats that consumed either drug alone.

This experiment is conducted in Australia because it is the second highest per capita user of methamphetamine in the world behind Thailand, with statistics showing that one in 10 people have tried drugs like speed or the more potent ice in their lifetime.

Using rats as experiment in 3 drug groups, only the rats in the combination of an ethanol solution equivalent to 10 shots of tequila and a “solid dose” of ice displayed so-called general anxiety, characterised by panic attacks and feelings of fear.

The researchers say they are unsure how the two drugs interact in the brain, as they work on different neuro-transmitters, but it was clear there was some kind of synergy.

“We know there is definitely some interaction though and now we know that, this really needs to be studied further,” she said.

The unpublished research, presented at the World Congress of Neuroscience in Melbourne today, was supervised by neuropharmacologist Dr Jennifer Cornish, who said the findings were preliminary but potentially concerning.

Anyway, my advise is : Stay away from Drugs and Alcohol. Do not waste your life away.
