Remember this next time you have a panic attack; the causes of panic attacks cannot do you any physical harm. Your mind may make the sensations continue longer than the body intended, but eventually everything will return to a state of balance. In fact, balance (homeostasis) is what our body continually strives for. (The above is from Mr. Barry's network. As a phobic for all my life (almost 68 yr) I find the info interesting, but belated, for this person who was given vitamin elixirs for what he termed "feeling of desperation". I did not even know the word anxiety. Now on medications, but the problem with the above info is that rationality becomes moot after so many years of sensitization...phobics become irrational. I cannot believe my judgement when I tell myself all this is old hat and I'm still here. It's like getting the panic attack for the first time every time.
Wonder what your readers have to say, especially those with many years in this cycle.
