Following the previous article Causes of Panic Attack, here is another informative article from Joe Barry who is an internationally reknown panic disorder coach on the topic of Agoraphobia and Panic Attacks.
There is phobia that is linked to the experience of panic attacks, and that is agoraphobia. Agoraphobia is the fear of open spaces or of being in crowded, public places such as shopping markets. It is a fear associated with leaving a safe zone, such as the home.
Because of a feeling of being vulnerable, people who experience this fear often suffer from panic attacks in these pen’s situations. It is true to say many people who have regular panic attacks experience different degrees of agoraphobia.

I have always thought that being judgemental or picky will result in being more high stress and suffer greater emotional fluctations. Looks like I am right.
Recent study at the University of Vermont’s Department of Psychology shows that among 154 young adults at their early 20s, there is a significant association between certain mindfulness skills and high levels of both negative affectivity (also known as neuroticism) and anxiety sensitivity.
Basically, the more anxiety a person experiences, the less they will be able to practice mindfulness skills. In general, mindfulness is a key element of Eastern spiritual practices such as Buddhism. More research is needed to show a definite link, but intuitive wisdom suggests that mindfulness skills lead to a healthier, happier emotional state.
